Born and raised in Malaysia, Jessica Ho has had an eclectic background as a movement artist. Jessica started her movement training with Ballet at the age of 4, winning numerous awards at Malaysia’s national level Classical Ballet Competition during her teenage years. She then pursued a Diploma in Dance at the National Arts Academy (Malaysia), training extensively in Asian traditional dance forms and contemporary dance. She received her BFA in Dance at Texas Christian University (TCU) under the prestigious Nordan Fine Arts Scholarship before relocating to New York City where she now works in dance performance, Pilates and Fitness.
Jessica has been practicing Pilates for 9 years we like to call her,“The Pilates Robot” due to the fact that she seems capable of accomplishing even the most difficult exercises with complete ease and finesse! She completed her Pilates Apparatus and Mat certification under Lab Founder Lawson Harris and is now teaching regular group Pilates classes. Jessica was also trained by Lawson Harris as a Bounce and Cardio Mat instructor—classes which she finds are the most exciting, sweat-filled fun workouts she has ever taken and taught. Jessica combines her knowledge of movement, anatomy, Pilates, personal training, as well as her experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation to customize her sessions for varying clientele.
